Biofilm Sensor
Detect Biofilm before it becomes a problem.
The ALVIM Biofilm Sensor provides real-time monitoring of biofilm formation within fluid-handling systems, allowing operators to detect bacterial settlement from its earliest stages. By continuously measuring electrochemical changes, the sensor signals when biofilm begins to develop so corrective action can be taken at the right time. This proactive approach helps reduce chemical overuse, prevent microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) and Legionella risk, and support reliable system performance across cooling, water, and industrial process applications.
