Finding the Right Spray Solution for Your Process
A sanitary cleaning process is critical to manufacturing a safe product. That is why choosing the right spray device for your process is essential.
Sani-Matic experts evaluate applications and soils, from water-soluble to hard-to-clean, to determine whether a static spray ball, rotary, or jet spray device will best target equipment or process vessel soils. The team will design and manufacture static spray devices in our Wisconsin manufacturing center with the appropriate flows, pressures, and spray patterns to ensure efficient and dependable cleaning. If rotary or jet spray impingement solutions are required, we offer high-quality, German-manufactured products from AWH, Armaturenwerk Hötensleben GmbH, a member of NEUMO-Ehrenberg Group.
Select spray devices are designed and certified to the 78-03 (Spray Cleaning Devices Intended to Remain in Place) 3-A standard. When considering a strainer that requires 3-A certification, contact a Sani-Matic representative.
Did you know Sani-Matic offers custom engineered spray ball solutions?
Sani-Matic can create 3-D models of you process vessels to engineer an effective static spray device drill patterns for proper coverage of all ports and surfaces.
What spray ball types are available?
Spherical: Most common and ideal for general patterns.
Tangential: Provides a full 90° of drilling area on the upper hemisphere.
Spray Bubble: These are size-on-size (hemisphere to supply tube) and ideal for saving space.
What if a rotary spray ball stops rotating?
Rotating balls can stop working. The spray ball will continue preforming as a static spray ball if the bearings jam. Operators can troubleshoot by cleaning blocked openings and checking for worn bearings.
Is there a way to monitor jet spray device rotation?
Because the TANKO MX is gear and media driven, it can be monitored with sensors for proof of rotation. The AWN CIPGuard (TCG-ZR) is available for monitoring proof of rotation.

TANKO® S Rotary Spray Device
The TANKO® S series of rotary spray devices are intended to clean light to medium soil loads in a faster cleaning cycle. Their design and manufacture ensure large, directed water droplets for higher impact soil erosion.
TANKO® CM Rotary Spray Device
The controlled (not random) rotary spray devices within the TANKO® CP Series provide a slow and even rotation while delivering a high-impact spray. The CP series bridges the rotary and jet spray product lines for a low-cost solution.
TANKO® JM Jet Spray Device
The TANKO® JM Series of jet spray devices is intended for heavy soil applications requiring high-impact impingement. Three models with varying throw lengths are configurable to adjust the spray volume for optimal process effectiveness.
