Integrity, and Your Bottom Line
Protecting Your Equipment, Your Product Integrity, and Your Bottom Line
Strainers are a critical part of your process. They help maximize production efficiencies, protect your valuable equipment, and ensure product integrity.
That is why we manufacture a large variety of strainers that are sanitary in design, constructed from durable stainless steel, and easy to disassemble and clean.
We proudly manufacture and distribute all our products from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sun Prairie, WI, USA. We stock a large variety of strainers and strainer components, allowing us to provide you with the solution you need, when you need it.
Select strainers are designed and certified to the 42-02 (Sanitary Standard for In-Line Strainers) 3-A standard. When considering a strainer that requires 3-A certification, contact a Sani-Matic representative.
Not sure when to clean a strainer?
Installing a pressure gauge before and after a strainer can help. When the gauge placed after the strainer drops 8 to 10 psi following the initial flow start-up, you will know it is time to clean.
Want an economical and easy way to prolong the life of your equipment?
Install a Tee-Line Strainer at the suction end of the pump to protect the pump, process equipment, and valves from foreign materials, such as gasket pieces, bolts, and other items.
Why are Y-Strainers perfect for manufacturing chocolate?
Sani-Matic’s custom-designed hot water jackets can help keep confectionery products, such as chocolate, flowing through the production pipes.
How do you install a Y-Strainer?
The Y-Strainer should be installed in the process line with the Element’s handle pointing towards the floor.
Are basket strainer filter bags 3-A Certified?
While filter bags can be used with perforated elements for finer straining applications, they are not 3-A certified.
Note: Basket Strainer filter bags require a clamp ring and locking latch, which are sold separately.
