1943

The Sani-Matic brand begins in the dairy state of Wisconsin, when the early Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) Parts Washers were developed for the dairy industry.

The production and distribution of COP Parts Washers and sanitary components continues to grow.

Equipment innovation continues with automated Clean-In-Place (CIP) System advancements.

1990s

Sani-Matic begins offering its first CIP Systems into the pharmaceutical industry. The compact and portable UltraFlow® CIP system is developed and patented.

2000 – 2010

Sani-Matic begins introduction of cabinet washers to the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, including the SaniCab® P. This and other automated washers represent a large advancement in COP cleaning.

As Sani-Matic grows, additional manufacturing space is needed, resulting in an expansion of a second manufacturing facility with 70,000 sq. ft. of space, less than a mile away from the Madison, WI headquarters.

Sani-Matic develops and launches its Configured Design Offering (CDO) products, and revamps its COP Parts Washer product offering into this model. Defined model key specification, accessories, and supported Technical Datasheets provide quick technical and sales information to customers.

Sani-Matic releases the patented Hygienic Spray Deflector, a tank component that helps reduce CIP and water spray overflow for process vessels in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Sani-Matic partners with AWH, Armaturenwerk Hötensleben GmbH, a member of NEUMO-Ehrenberg Group, to offer a full line of rotary and jet sprays to North American markets.

Sani-Matic opens a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and office facility, consolidating operations under one roof in Sun Prairie, WI.

Data recording in the industry is revolutionized with the introduction of SaniTrend® Cloud, a new online data reporting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

Sani-Matic releases the SaniCab® PC, the industries’ first 3-A Authorized Cabinet Washer that for COP of process parts in the food, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries.

The launch of the patented Angle-Line Basket (ALB) Strainer represented a next step in process strainers for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries – straining from the inside allows more particulate capture, and the end cap removal allows for easy cleanout.

Sani-Matic’s innovation in Clean-In-Place (CIP) technologies expands to a new type of automation in hygienic processes – dry-in-place (DIP). This technology automates the drying of process lines and tanks with the launch of the Sanitary Dryer L system to dry after CIP.

Sani-Matic’s annual components catalog is launched and revamped with a new name, logo, and look and feel under the Hygienic Component Solutions brand. Products under this brand have undergone significant development with new and improved offerings, including strainers, spray devices, tank components, and more.

Sani-Matic simplifies sanitation and elevates efficiency through the launch of a new value cleaning technologies brand, CleanWorx, aimed at markets like protein and bakery. The inaugural product launched with this brand is the patent pending CyClean® 35 Parts Washer.

Sani-Matic acquires Douglas Machines Corp., based in Clearwater, FL, with a reputation for durable, high-volume cleaning equipment in the bakery, food service, and beverage industries. The combined product portfolio enhances customer experience for both companies.
