SUN PRAIRIE, Wisc., January 16, 2024 — Sani-Matic, Inc., a Sun Prairie, WI-based manufacturer of automated cleaning technology, hygienic component solutions, services, and digital solutions for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, has announced the appointment of Pete Ensch as CEO.

The strategic executive brings 30+ years of experience growing businesses through innovation and engineered solutions. With an extensive background in business development, continuous improvement, and the international market, he joins Sani-Matic after selling a private equity-based automation controls company to a strategic buyer.

“I look forward to joining an organization with such a solid reputation in the industry, poised for so much future growth,” said Ensch. “Sani-Matic has done an excellent job of establishing a strong culture of safety and quality – it rivals what I’ve seen in world-class European companies. It is truly impressive.”

Pete is passionate about understanding customer and end-market needs to provide superior solutions and services. He enjoys building high-performance teams that put customers first. A process-driven leader, he believes “there is always time for a little more efficiency” which he has proven through his experience with companies such as Rexnord and WEM Automation.

He takes over the role from former CEO Aaron Zell who announced his retirement earlier in the year. Sani-Matic thanks Zell for his years of service and continued support as a member of the Board of Directors.
