More and more processors are instituting preventive maintenance and spare parts programs to increase process uptime and productivity—and to prolong the life of process equipment.
Sani-Matic’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) program ensures your sanitary process cleaning equipment is running efficiently. It also minimizes the risk of downtime due to cleaning equipment failure. The program’s system assessment preempts equipment failure by determining the equipment duty cycle under normal operation and by examining parts that are known to have the potential for failure. The service also improves efficiencies by providing onsite Sani-Matic technicians to conduct operator training and wash recipe development.
Sani-Matic’s complete PM program includes the following services
- Perform Preventive Maintenance. Following the initial site visit, the PM service and operator training will be scheduled. It is recommended that this service be performed within one-year of system start-up.
- Six Month Checkup. A routine checkup will be scheduled for six months after the initial PM service. This trip will verify instrument calibration (no calibration certificates provided), PLC and HMI applications, and operator and maintenance training.
- Recommendations. Following a PM service visit, a report verifying the work performed, updates to any recommended inspections, and a list of recommendations or areas of concern will be provided.
